Arsenal news: West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus and PSG’s Lee Kang-in on Mikel Arteta’s radar

Arsenal face an uphill battle in the French capital, as they look to overturn a 1-0 deficit in the Champions League semi-finals against Paris Saint-Germain.

Italian giants Inter Milan await the victors in the final, after Simone Inzaghi’s side beat Barcelona 7-6 on aggregate.

As the Gunners aim for European glory on the pitch, the club’s sporting director Andrea Berta is gearing up for a huge summer off it.

Arsenal eye Mohammed Kudus

West Ham United winger Mohammed Kudus has attracted fresh interest from Arsenal, as reported by talkSPORT.

The Hammers could be tempted to cash in on the 24-year-old to further invest in other positions.

While the Ghanian has an £85million release clause in East London, it is unlikely that the Gunners would be willing to spend that amount of cash on the forward.

Kudus has been hot and cold this season, registering just seven goal contributions in all competitions.

Despite this, Kudus would offer some much-needed quality depth to Arsenal, who saw their title hopes fade away after Bukayo Saka’s injury in December.

Gunners to reignite Lee Kang-in interest

After failing to sign the South Korean in January, Mikel Arteta & Co. are ready to make another attempt to sign Lee Kang-in this summer, according to The Sun.

PSG are reportedly open to letting the 24-year-old leave the club, with the Parisians keen to make back the £18.7million they paid for him.

Arsenal’s Berta is a huge fan of the attacking midfielder, having tried to sign him for Atletico Madrid in 2023.

Able to play across the front line and in midfield, the South Korean international has bagged six goals and six assists this season, and would offer cover for multiple positions.

With Luis Enrique’s side hoping to break even, there is certainly a potential bargain to be had, however, a deal could hinge on Wednesday night’s result at the Parc des Princes…
