Tottenham news: Son Heung-Min linked with move to Saudi Pro League
Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-Min is a target for several Saudi Pro League clubs this summer.
In what has been a disappointing domestic campaign for Spurs, their European fortunes have been a source of much joy this season.
Ange Postecoglou’s side beat Premier League rivals Manchester United 1-0 in Bilbao to lift the Europa League, the club’s first trophy since 2008.
With Champions League football secured, a considerable amount of movement is expected in and out of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.
Saudi Pro League interest
According to the Telegraph, one of those who could depart North London is Son, with the 32-year-old attracting interest from Saudi Arabia.
Tottenham could opt to cash in on the South Korean as they look to generate funds for their transfer kitty.
Son is currently away on international duty with South Korea, who are set to take on Iraq and Kuwait, so a potential move away is likely on the back burner.
The forward could be one of many high-profile Spurs departures this summer, with Postecoglou’s future also up in the air.
Would it be a mistake to sell Son Heung-Min?

Although Tottenham have had a poor campaign, Son has been a shining light on the white side of North London.
The South Korean hit 11 goals in all competitions this season, while also reaching double figures for assists, setting up 12.
Joining Spurs from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015, Son has spent a whopping 10 years at the club.
454 appearances, 173 goals and 101 assists later, could the forward be ready to move on?
With one year left on his current deal, it would not be a surprise to see Son pursue a new challenge, similar to how Harry Kane did a couple of years ago.
While still at the top of his game, though, Daniel Levy should do everything within his power to keep hold of Son, who is undoubtedly a Tottenham Hotspur legend.
Just think of where the club would be without their captain this season…
