Premier League betting tips: Alejandro Garnacho tipped with Manchester United exit - Chelsea and Napoli favourites

Alejandro Garnacho has been heavily linked with a move away from Manchester United.

The 20-year-old has reportedly grown frustrated at Old Trafford after an underwhelming end to the season.

Following the Red Devils’ 1-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final, the Argentine hinted at a summer exit after being dropped by Ruben Amorim.

He said: “I’ll try and enjoy the summer, and then we’ll see what happens.”

With clubs around Europe now on high alert, Transfer News Blitz’s Edward Moss has found the best odds on Garnacho’s future.

Napoli

Former Manchester United man Scott McTominay has revived his career at Napoli.

Rumoured to be on the move last January, Napoli were one of the frontrunners to land Garnacho at the time.

The Serie A club had just sold Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris Saint-Germain and were on the hunt for an immediate replacement.

Noah Okafor was bought in on loan from fellow Italian side AC Milan, however, the Swiss forward made just four appearances and failed to impress.

Napoli will likely be keen to bring in a top-quality winger this summer, and if Garnacho is available, there is every chance that Antonio Conte’s side will reignite their interest.

The Italians have a great track record in signing players from Manchester United, with Scott McTominay recently lifting the Serie A title in his first season at the club.

Chelsea

Another club that came close to signing Garnacho in January, Chelsea, are again among the favourites to sign the Argentine international.

While the Blues will certainly look to reinforce their attacking options this summer, the West Londoners are currently working on a deal to sign Jadon Sancho permanently from Manchester United.

If available, Enzo Maresca’s side could make a move for Garnacho, however, it would be unlikely if Sancho completes a switch to Stamford Bridge.

Stay at Manchester United

Of course, there is every chance that the current United winger stays put.

Undoubtedly one of the Red Devils’ more talented players, the Argentine ended this campaign with 21 goal contributions and could have a huge part to play in Amorim’s future plans.

Although with a seemingly strained relationship between the two, and given the fact that Manchester United are skint, if a good offer comes in, I think we could see Alejandro ‘GarnachGO’.

Atletico Madrid

If Garnacho is to leave Old Trafford this summer, could he return to where it all began?

The forward spent five years in Atletico’s youth setup before joining Man United for £420,000 in 2020.

Rumoured to be available for just £40million, the LaLiga outfit would not necessarily have to break the bank to land the Argentine.

Looking at Garnacho’s personality and playing style, I think he reeks of a prime Diego Simeone player, and could truly tear up, and wind up, Europe under his fellow countryman.

BEST ODDS: 10/1 (Bet365 / William Hill)

Bayer Leverkusen

Alejandro Garnacho as previously played under Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.

With Florian Wirtz seemingly Liverpool-bound, Bayer Leverkusen will be on the lookout to replace the German.

Former Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has recently taken over the Bundesliga side, so he could turn to his former player to succeed the 22-year-old.

Garnacho made 98 appearances in all competitions under the Dutchman at Old Trafford.

Something about this potential move just feels right, and if it happens, you could be in for a tidy pay day.

BEST ODDS: 10/1 (Ladbrokes / Star Sports / Coral / Sky Bet / Paddy Power)
