Tottenham news: Morgan Gibbs-White set to follow Mohammed Kudus as Spurs spend big
Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on a deal to sign Morgan Gibbs-White from fellow Premier League side Nottingham Forest.
Thomas Frank has been hard at work ahead of his maiden campaign in charge of the North London outfit.
The Dane replaced Ange Postecoglou, who was sacked in June despite leading Spurs to their first piece of major silverware since 2008.
Ahead of the upcoming season, Tottenham have added Japanese youngster Kota Takai to their ranks, as well as bringing former loanees Kevin Danso and Mathys Tel in permanently.

The Whites have also bought in Mohammed Kudus from London rivals West Ham United in a deal worth £55million.
Despite interest from other clubs, the 24-year-old only wanted a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and penned a six-year deal in North London.
Spurs have been long-standing admirers of the Ghanaian, but have finally got their man.

Tottenham are not done there either.
As per David Ornstein, England and Nottingham Forest star Gibbs-White is expected to complete a medical at Spurs in the next 24 hours.
The North London outfit are understood to have activated a £60million release clause in the 25-year-old’s contract.
It is reportedly only a matter of time until the Forest captain is a Tottenham Hotspur player.
With 17 goal involvements in the Premier League last term, Gibbs-White is one of England’s most exciting talents.
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City were thought to be considering a move for the midfielder, ultimately opting to sign Rayan Cherki instead.
Primarily an attacking midfielder, the England international has been shifted out wide when needed, and could offer some much-needed cover for Spurs.
Following their dismal campaign last term, it certainly looks as though Tottenham mean business this summer.
