Tottenham news: Thomas Frank closely monitoring Crystal Palace and England star Eberechi Eze
Tottenham Hotspur are weighing up a move for Crystal Palace forward Eberechi Eze this summer.
Along with new boss Thomas Frank, the North Londoners have already welcomed Kevin Danso and Mathys Tel to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on a permanent basis.
The duo won the Europa League with Spurs last season, having joined the club on loan in January.
Eberechi Eze on Tottenham Hotspur’s radar
Eberechi Eze led Crystal Palace to the FA Cup last season.
Following an impressive campaign in South London, Eze has been linked with a move away from Selhurst Park.
As per Florian Plettentberg, Tottenham are closely monitoring the England international ahead of the upcoming 2025/26 season.
However, the 26-year-old is reportedly one of several high-profile forwards that Spurs are currently considering.
With 26 goal involvements for Crystal Palace last term, Eze, who also played a pivotal role in the Eagles’ FA Cup triumph, would be a superb addition for the Whites.
The Englishman is understood to have a £68million release clause in his contract at Palace, according to The Guardian.
Tottenham Hotspur want marquee signing
Last season was certainly one to forget for Tottenham Hotspur, however, a new era has now begun on the white side of North London.
Ange Postecoglou was axed in favour of Frank from Brentford, who is keen to bring back the feel-good factor at Spurs.
With Champions League football on the horizon, Tottenham are actively on the hunt for a statement signing.
Spurs are reportedly trying to hijack Manchester United’s move for Bryan Mbuemo, while also being linked with AFC Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo.
However, the North Londoners now have Eze firmly in their sights.
Whoever Tottenham are to sign, one thing is clear - Daniel Levy is firmly backing his new head coach.
