Liverpool news: Newcastle United star Alexander Isak set to complete Anfield switch
Liverpool have reached a total agreement with Newcastle United to sign Swedish centre forward Alexander Isak.
The Reds have so far enjoyed a perfect start to their Premier League campaign, with three wins from three.
Following victories over AFC Bournemouth and the Magpies, Arne Slot’s men picked up a massive win over title rivals Arsenal, thanks to a stunning Dominik Szoboszlai free-kick.
Off the pitch, the Merseysiders have also had a hugely successful summer, with the likes of Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike and Milos Kerkez all making the switch to Anfield.

Liverpool agree Alexander Isak deal
Liverpool have been long-standing admirers of Isak for some time, having been chasing the Swede’s signature all summer.
Now, it looks as though the Reds are finally going to get their man.
According to David Ornstein, Liverpool have agreed a deal worth a whopping £130million for the 25-year-old.
Isak, who has been pushing for a move to Merseyside, will put pen to paper on a six-year deal at Anfield.
Newcastle are thought to be working on a move to sign Brentford’s Yoane Wissa as a replacement.
With 23 goals and six assists in the Premier League last season, the Swedish international will be a scary addition to Slot’s front line.

Could Liverpool sign anyone else?
In addition to a deal for Isak, the Reds are also understood to be working on a Deadline Day deal for Crystal Palace and England defender Marc Guehi.
Liverpool are readying an offer worth £35million plus a 10% sell-on clause for the 25-year-old, as per Romano.
It is not known whether the Eagles will be willing to accept the deal, with a replacement surely needed at Selhurst Park.
If the move is completed, current Reds defender Joe Gomez will likely depart the club, with Serie A side AC Milan reportedly keen.
