Man City news: Will Rodrygo leave Real Madrid? Pep Guardiola huge fan of Brazilian star
Manchester City are understood to be considering a move for Brazil and Real Madrid forward Rodrygo.
The Etihad has been a hive of activity this summer, with several high-profile incomings and outgoings.
Notably, James Trafford, Rayan Cherki and Tijjani Reijnders have joined City, among others.
On the other hand, Jack Grealish and James McAtee are set to leave Man City, with Kevin De Bruyne and Kyle Walker having already departed.
Savinho has also been told he can leave the club, with Tottenham Hotspur reportedly working on a deal.
Manchester City eye Rodrygo
According to Fabrizio Romano, Man City are weighing up a move for Rodrygo.
Pep Guardiola is said to be a huge admirer of the 24-year-old, who is the Cityzens’ dream target this summer.
Manchester City have reportedly held initial talks and registered their interest in the Brazil international, as per Florian Plettenberg.
However, it is thought to be questionable whether City could afford a permanent deal for the winger this summer.
The North West outfit’s current spending since January stands at over £300million.
Rodrygo is yet to decide on his future at Real Madrid, so the situation remains very much open.

Rodrygo well sought after
Manchester City are not the only Premier League side to have shown a keen interest in Rodrygo this summer.
Arsenal were keen but opted to sign Noni Madueke instead, similarly to Liverpool, who are seemingly more focused on a deal for Alexander Isak.
Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea were also understood to have the Brazilian on their shopping list, but will likely move for other targets.
