Man Utd betting tips: Who will be Manchester United’s next head coach? Ruben Amorim’s future uncertain
Pressure has continued to mount on Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim following the Red Devils’ 3-1 defeat away to Brentford.
The Bees stung United early on, as Brazilian forward Igor Thiago scored twice inside 20 minutes.
Benjamin Sesko pegged one back for Man United in the first half, his first goal since signing from Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig in the summer.
But it was Mathias Jensen who put the final nail in Manchester United’s coffin with an injury-time strike from distance to seal all three points for Keith Andrews’ side.
The Red Devils are now left 14th in the Premier League table, as Amorim edges ever closer to an Old Trafford exit.
With that in mind, who are the favourites to take the United hot seat if the 40-year-old departs, according to the Bookies?

Oliver Glasner
Having led Crystal Palace to an FA Cup triumph, the first major honour in the club’s history, Oliver Glasner has been a revelation in South London.
Despite losing star man Eberechi Eze to Arsenal in the summer, under Glasner, the Eagles are third in the Premier League table after six games.
The Austrian reportedly threatened to walk over Marc Guehi’s proposed Deadline Day switch to Liverpool, which eventually fell through.
Reds boss Arne Slot is set to reignite his interest in the defender in January, something that could have huge ramifications for Palace.
With nine months left on his current deal at Selhurst Park, it would be no shock to see Glasner leave the club.

Gareth Southgate
After a hugely successful eight-year spell in charge of England, Gareth Southgate has been out of management since July 2024.
The 55-year-old totally transformed the Three Lions, having led them to two European Championship finals, as well as a World Cup semi-final.
Southgate has been out of club management for some time, having been at the helm of Middlesbrough between June 2006 and October 2009.
However, it is safe to say that this appointment would not go down very well with the Manchester United fanbase.
But stranger things have happened…

Michael Carrick
From one former Boro boss to another, Michael Carrick is another name linked with a possible move to Old Trafford.
Of course, the Englishman made 464 appearances for Manchester United as a player and is regarded highly by many supporters.
The 44-year-old has already had a stint in charge of the Red Devils as caretaker manager in 2021, and remained unbeaten across three games at the helm.
While not a big name, Carrick knows the club through and through, and could be the ideal man to take United forward.

Unai Emery
Despite a less-than-ideal start to the Premier League season with Aston Villa, Unai Emery could be another concrete replacement for Amorim.
The Spaniard has led the Villans back to Europe, including a campaign in the Champions League last term.
That being said, Emery has struggled to make a real impact at the big clubs, including Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.
While a move for the Villa boss could be on the cards, it would be tough to tempt him away from Villa Park, especially with success not necessarily guaranteed.

Andoni Iraola
Andoni Iraola has worked wonders on the South Coast with AFC Bournemouth since taking over in 2023.
The 43-year-old has moulded the Cherries into a force to be reckoned with in little over two years.
This has made many Manchester United fans eye the Spaniard as the ideal successor to Amorim if he is to depart.
That being said, could the United hierarchy tempt Iraola away from the Vitality Stadium, especially with the current state of affairs at the club?
If they can, what an appointment it would be, but it certainly looks unlikely, especially midway through the season.
